PUTAKE/RATIONALE:

Design is a critical investigative process that is now acknowledged to produce highly innovative solutions across all disciplines. It is the ideal methodology for exploring possibilities and developing fresh opportunities. This Master of Design by Project is a Kaupapa Maori centred programme with a strong cultural emphasis on the commercialisation of designed ideas.

The Awatoru kaupapa backing this programme is deliberately Enterprise led, Design enabled, Culturally underpinned to harness the potential of Maori culture to differentiate ourselves in global markets in relationships, products, services and experiences.
