National Maori Housing Conference

The Māori Caucus of Community Housing Aotearoa invites you and members of your organisation to attend our National Māori Housing Conference – Nōu te rourou, Nāku te rourou – ka ora ai te iwi – with your contribution and mine we shall all prosper. 

This two and a half day event brings together people from across the community to discuss issues, showcase and celebrate Māori Housing success and innovation across Aotearoa. 

Nōu te rourou, Nāku te rourou will take place at Te Papaiouru Marae in Rotorua from Monday 22nd to Wednesday 24th March 2010, beginning with a powhiri at 11am.   

The two and half days encompass presentations from our membership and the sector with a key focus on Papakainga, Trade Training, Design, Finance, Māori Land and Kaitiakitanga.  We will also have stall exhibitions and one to one clinics that will enable you to connect directly with representatives from Government agencies and related housing organisations.  We will also host a BBQ Dinner event on the evening of the 22nd to further your ability to network with one another.
